Estafette - Filipe
1. Selectiegroep
I skate for group C.
2. Geboorte & woonplaats
I was born in Loulé, a small city in the south of Portugal. Right now I live in Eindhoven!!! :)
3. Wat vind je koel aan E.S.S.V. Isis?
Fuuu... where should I start? E.S.S.V. Isis, from the way I see it, its "just" a bunch of awesome people who share interest in speed skating, but are capable of organizing various kinds of fun events and activities. I really liked the fact that it helped me find out about Dutch culture and traditions!
4. Wat vind je de leukste activiteit?
IJsVoetbal, by far! It was crazy, it was so slippery I think I was rolling and bouncing like 90% of the games!!!
5. Wat was je scheve schaats?
My biggest mistake, is probably starting to watch addictive tv series when I have a bit too much to do.
6. Wat is jouw ijsbreker?
On a scale from 1 to 10, you're a 9. And I'm the 1 you need.
7. Wat zijn je sportieve doelen voor het komende jaar?
My main goals are to break my PR on the Hour Record and try to get a better position in the Super Prestige!

Photo 3- Cool, a picture where I am sober! This was last important cross country event (national championships) I raced before coming to the Netherlands! Fun fact: This race happened the day before I received my grades for high school finals, which would determine whether I would come or not to Eindhoven... Even after what was the possibly the hardest race I ever rode, I was so anxious about knowing if I would make it to Eindhoven that I didn't manage to get any sleep during that night.
I am "passing the ball" to a member of the new "bestuur"... Dorus van Dinther!
